    We got lucky.
Yes. We are all irrelevant to the FO. Especially ScarFace who is wrong 90% of the time. He thinking he is a better GM than Casserio is ridiculous. The fun with this forum is differing opinions and respectful debate. Calling anyone irrelevant on a sports forum is really ignorant. We all make bad posts and good posts, but in the context of this forum we are all relevant, until you reach troll status.

Has to be mentioned, but Stroud took a big hit that led to Mills taking a snap... Could this have been a reason for some of his ill advised throws yesterday? We won a game we should have lost. Overall. This was the "bad game" for the rook and he still threw for 300+ yds and several great throws.

His head didn't hit the ground and the DB didn't hit him in the head. He got the wind knocked out of him.

And now I'm the Spiderman meme with you asking who tf is Dylan Horton?? Also how the hell does Cashman single-handedly pick up like 10% of the entire league's tackles yesterday and still get a 76?? Mother****ers grading this **** remind me of my engineering profs at A&M.

Game ball to Big George Fant for running down the interception. Saved the game.

After watching some film, it's interesting to see how Gannon attacked Stroud. It seemed like he was intent on throwing exotic coverages at CJ to try to confuse him. It didn't normally work, and actually seemed to backfire a lot of the time.

But it also seems like Gannon was intent on having his cover guys jump anticipatory routes. Especially those over the middle. This seems to be the most common way defensive coaches are getting to CJ. I think that's an ongoing adjustment that CJ is making.

What's interesting is that anytime we did a double move on these defenders, we typically beat them pretty hard. Tank's touchdown comes to mind. Nicole Collins had an out and up in the back corner of the end zone where he beat his man as well, but the throw just wasn't quite there. I think this is what the Texans need to do when they start seeing this defense, as I think they will more and more. Especially with a quarterback that loves to drive the ball down the field.

It worked for Gannon in the sense that sitting on those anticipatory routes( those ins, outs, and quick slants) produced three interceptions. But it also didn't work in the sense that CJ still made that defense pay. And it could have been a lot worse than the stats show.

Love this kid. After watching this, and thinking about these things, it makes sense as to why he said what he said about how he's going to keep slinging it. So excited for next week.
