It feels like Channing Frye's destiny in life to play for Morey. I can't believe it hasn't happened yet.
Gotta think Frye definitely gets a buyout, but maybe even IT. That would be interesting, even if the Rockets wouldn't make any sense for that.
Yeah, Lonzo's injury might force that and let's the Lakers look at Thomas. Maybe they can get George in 18 FA, but not LeBron, and they sign Thomas to a friendly deal that lets them get back out into FA in 2020. I don't think so, but it is interesting to think about. I'm sure the Lakers want to keep Frye, but I bet he pushes hard for a buyout.
Highly doubtful he would pick us over OKC. Makes way too much sense to go to OKC with the Roberson injury
