No it's the first game of the season. What in the hell else would I be talking about? It is weird that Blanco is getting the opening day nod I will admit, but he had a good spring.
9 of the 23 pitchers on Houston’s 40 man roster are on the IL. Coleman is the only healthy 40 man arm in the minors. I personally would not mind seeing Scott swapped out for Strotman or Contreras to get a fresh arm up there until JV or Sousa or comes back.
I think overall I liked what I saw from the first series. Starting pitching looked good and Yainer looks like he might be primed for a huge season.
Too bad, the Yankees will benefit from this series in the standings because Blue Jays will get spanked. Timely hitting and shut down bullpen will be back.
