Such a gimmick league. The biggest problem the league has there isn't much at stake. Fans don't care who wins. In turn the players/teams don't have much to play for other and don't really care either. No suspense. No drama. no passion.
Yeah it needs something to spice things up, only tuning in for Mobley & Abdul-Rauf and the former still got it but the latter is just getting too old. What doesn’t help is the more recent NBA players are decreasing and instead we’re getting nobodies. They should try to do some stuff like digitally add fire to threes and fours, make the court more appealing - black is not the way to go - and have commentary in the arena w/ a DJ playing tracks like at Rucker. Not sure if there’s actual on court rules they could apply to make it more fun, but right now the level is competition seems rather weak.
