For good reason... Keuchel has dominated the Yanks this year. 21 total strikeouts in two games against them. So if the Astros win Tuesday, the ALDS matchup will be this year's KC Royals vs. this year's KC Royals???

How do you think Keuchel will do on short rest? I've seen stats before that show the ERA's are higher in games that pitchers go on 3 days rest.
Keuchel is a really, really bad matchup for the Yankees. Most of their lineup is either lefty, or switch hitters who are less effective right handed. It's not a coincidence that he has fared so well against them. On the flip side, we have quite a few lefty hitters who are much more effective against righties. But it's a one game scenario, anything could happen. Dallas simply may not be sharp, and Tanaka could be locked in, but on paper it looks good for us.
1. Altuve-2nd 2. Springer-RF 3. Correa-SS 4. Rasmus-LF 5. Gattis-DH 6. Valbuena-3b 7. Carter-1b 8. Castro-C 9. Marisnick My early lineup thoughts assuming that Gomez won't be ready to start. Thoughts?
I think he will be fine. Cole Hamels did just fine yesterday. Man I am so anxious for this game. I can barely concentrate on work now.. I know tomorrow I will be all over the place
