Hopefully last night really lights a fire under him going forward, and the team.

I am not going to spiral with rage with every disappointing inning. I don't want to have a stroke. I have made peace that this team is unlikely to make a run this year. The injuries, lineup and new manager and, simply, the difficulty of baseball caught up with the team. It happens.

What I would like to see is if the organization is proactive enough to pivot and find a new direction. Making a run in 2025 is all good, but is it sustainable to keep losing big pieces for compensatory picks? They will either lose Bregman, Tucker, or Valdez, or they will meet market contract demands. Are those the only options?

The bigger question- how much power and trust does Dana Brown have in the organization?
I would like for the franchise to demonstrate that they are not some ad hoc, reactive hobby for ex-players and Crane to dip in and out of.
