Bagwell's talked about it about how he felt more focused when he'd get guys in scoring position, and the ball would seem to slow down a little bit. Now imagine if your batters just got a little closer to that sort of mentality throughout the whole game instead of chucking hundreds of at-bats out the window like they mean nothing.
