Severino with 65 pitches through two innings.......... that was 7-8 innings for Greg Maddux or John Tudor.

I would really like to thank Gurriel for swinging at the first pitch after a quick at bat by Bregman..... way to work that pitch count Gurriel

Yordan really has to swing at those grooved first pitch fastballs. Best pitch he will see.

If we can get 1-2 more runs, this game will be ours.

Pitchers have figured out that Alvarez is prime Babe Ruth if he is up in the count 1-0 and he is Josh Reddick if he is down 0-1

Yuli swung at a good pitch to hit, can't fault him for that.

If you have a bullet in the gun you fire it. Game 5 Verlander is either to send us home needing to win 1 of 2 home games to advance. Or he would be pitching to save our bacon cause we are down 3-1. Orrrr maybe he is pitching to close out the series. All of those reasons are good reasons to pitch JV game 5 if he has had full rest.
Yordan is bamboozled right now. He doesn't know which way is up.

He swung at a strike for sure...... It is mostly me being frustrated, they had a chance to knock Severino out if they had got his pitch count up.

Yuli: Don't swing at the first pitch.

Everyone else except Altuve: Swing at the first pitch.

Altuve: Do what you must. You're killing it.

    Think the Cubs miss Torres?

Think they could use a 23 year old superstar?
