An "expert" said earlier today on local radio that TB's pitching staff might not ever be duplicated again considering payroll. They pieced it together so well. They only have 2 bully guys from the opening day roster.
I know you are. I was just commenting in general for those who may not know as much about the game. In high school, our team looked for tells from the dugout every pitch. Base runners at second base always try to look into the pitcher’s glove every pitch and relay what they learn to the hitter.
After that. I got that very late in the season when almost all the money was Astros/Dodgers/Yankees. I will likely cash it in before the WS for a smaller payout and give it to my Aunt. My friend put 50,000 on the Astros before the season. That amount is insane to me. I guess being single he can afford it.
A certain local team used to use binoculars 10-15 years ago and then would relay to someone in the clubhouse.
They complained in 2017 when they lost to the Astros. The Yankees bullpen will play a huge part in this series as well. They won’t make as many pitching changes as the Rays but they will rely heavily on 5-6 relievers to make up for their rotation holes.
They just broke it down on MLB Network. Glasnow holds his glove much higher on his fastball than he does on his curveball. That’s on him.
MLB Network just showed the clip of Cintron signing to Maldonado and trying to claim he was signing to out hitters! He was actually letting Maldy know Cole was starting to tip
Yeah, I watched A Rod break it down but for Dontrelle Willis to speak on it is funny, cause when his career fell off a cliff, tipping his pitches was a big concern and he spent a lotta time trying not to.
Yeah, that is pretty funny. But it’s also funny to have two convicted PED users talk about a team stealing signs. Which has been going on in the game since it began. Also, it’s not like it was a subtle tell. Glasnow made it obvious. Edit: Rodriguez and Ortiz both said it was simply part of the game and not cheating, so they weren’t getting bent out of shape.
