Disappointing and was hoping we wouldn’t be playing another game. That said positives things to take away. We got the tying run to the plate in the 9th. We had many close plays but all the breaks seemed to go the Rays way. That will even out. Verlander has one of the worst starts of his career but still gave 4 innings. Our pen kept them scoreless.

This next game isn’t going to be easy but we have the talent and the experience. It is still our game to lose.

    Odd game:
    1. Verlander didn't look like himself
    2. Cheerios hits a home run
    3. Astros hit a ton of pop ups and dribblers
    4. Alvarez missed an opportunity to become an Astro folk hero
    5. Brantley (the professional hitter) looked lost and disinterested
    6. Is the Rays stadium a tent?
    7. The game was actually close at the end.

Astros will come alive in Game 5 and Cole will be Cole. He hasn’t lost a game since May, can’t imagine he would lose now.

Just think about it...game 2 was pretty close, we could be out right now. We need to play a lot better, period. No excuses about how good their pitching is, that's what people said about the Dodgers pitching and Yankees bullpen the year we won.

You either get it done or you don't.

The Last time Verlander failed in a big game, we turned to Morton. We've been here before. Deja freaking View.

Those saying "oh, it doesn't matter", "it's the stadium". That Rays team is playing loose. Astros are TIGHT. Better hope Cole wants to show he deserves $40 million a year. Even then, If they don't hit...it's over. 107 wins means SQUAT if u lose in the 1st round.

Astros didn’t make it easy. Glasnow, Snell, Morton will the the toughest group of pitchers we face through the playoffs... and in one game.

Cole needs to be lights out. Pressly, Osuna need to be money and our bats have no choice but to wake up.

    we will pull it off.

3 out of 4 series are going to a game 5.
The Twins are a playoff punchline that have lost 16 straight.

We have the best pitcher in baseball going at home on full rest on Thursday.

    We got this.

This is just setting up for Luhnow to see that he can't let Cole walk. I'll go with that.

We have to score first and a crooked number. If tampon hangs a couple on Cole early the entire teams collective butt will tighten to the size of a needle head causing them to flail away at crap and watch fastballs go down the middle.

Yeah...but Morton is playing on the other team.

Would have been nice to have him tonight, we'd be talking about the Yankees if he started this game 4 for us.
