Never mind, I checked the ruling, and it was. The error was actually in the previous inning. Sorry, my mistake.
I don’t want to argue with someone in bad faith. Just consider what I said and i’ll consider what you said.
Thank you again Bregman. 50 Doubles, 30 HR, 100 RBI, what an incredible year. Now we need some more runs.
Doubles machine! 100 RBI! Century mark for RBI, half-century doubles! With the same swing! And he comes home for his 100th run!
Damn, Yuli just missed it. Can Bregman seriously be this f**king good? Is this a great player having an early career season, or is he gonna be a perennial MVP threat. This is seriously amazing.
Gehrig, A-Rod, Pujols, Bregman: 4 guys in MLB history to hit 30 HR and 50 2B before turning 25 Correa looked really good running the bases there.
Bregman needs 7 more doubles to break Biggio's all time Astro single season doubles record. Hope he gets it.
Doing the math in my head, if Bregman had gotten 2 hits instead of drawing 2 walks, his line right now would be .300 .400 30 50 100 100
6 and 7: James 8: Pressly (if a save sit), or Perez (if not) 9: Depends on the score, Osuna (save) or Peacock/Perez if non save. That's how I'd piece together the rest of the game
The Maldonado trade was lambasted around here, feels like a pretty good deal right now. Feels like a good game for Josh James to do his thing.
Once again, I never opposed Maldonado. I just would have rather traded ways someone other than a LHP. Sandoval was a great prospect. Maybe it's just me, but it seems the Astros generally value LHP more as trade chips than building blocks (see also: Hader).
