George should never try to steal a base. He's really bad at it.

 

Good hitting that inning, but terrible base running. If you're Aoki, why take 2nd if you know you're likely to have a man on 1st and 3rd with one out and the hottest hitter in baseball coming to the plate? If you're Springer, why risk getting caught stealing (again) when Altuve is on deck and Correa is right behind him? Not a fan of either of those moves.

 

Springer caught stealing 10 times last year.

Sick of these base running blunders. Fire Hinch, blow the team up.

 

Base running is still an Achilles heel of this team. Run into more outs than most teams.

 

I think the water fountains in the stadium must have an inferiority complex when they look over at the waterfall spectacular. That or they get thirsty.

 

I also wonder if the outfielders often feel the need to pee.

Yeah unfortunately. All that speed and can't quit get it together on the base paths.

 

yeah...it's tough. especially with day games. It's definitely the best radio listen though, I do that a lot.
