Over the last two years, Fiers and Kennedy are 2 and 3 on the launch pad list of pitchers. It should be an epic match up.
Has a pitcher ever turned one, very very good, season into a career like Kennedy? He doesn't even pass the eye test.
He's had 1 really good season and a few nice seasons. Probably a number of pitchers less worthy than him have had worse careers. He also has taken the mound 30 or more times in each of the past 7 seasons. That, in and of itself, is an accomplishment in these times.
yes. He's a good innings eater who pitches decently, with streaks of very-good. That's a solid player, but not great. He's in range of Matt Garza. Not as good as Gallardo. A bit better than Feldman.
Ian Kennedy must be sh*tin his pants right about now with the knowledge he has to face the Astros lineup.
I should have referenced Kennedy more to the amount of money he's made and will make compared to guys like Gallardo, Garza, Sale, Darvish, and Archer. Although some of these guys will be getting paid handsomely in the future. Kennedy turned a great season and the ability to not get injured into a payday.
Nobody wants to talk about the dark side of this, where in the back alleys and in a black market the real glove exchanges are taking place at the midnight hour. You think major leaguers are out clubbin at 3am, but really, it's glove aquisition.
Springer becoming collectible now. He's on pace to be our best player and realize the potential of the 2011 draft, where that entire first round is looking pretty good these days.
That interview with AJ was awesome. Not for what was said, but what was going on behind Julia and AJ.
