Nice to see Cole make Mahle throw 8 pitches, and give him a tough battle. At least we clear the pitcher's spot and don't have him lead off the next inning.

    Need to score, though.

Encarnacion would have been nice in this line up right about now

We might be in the middle of a 8 game losing streak.

Meanwhile the Yankees offense has been alive and well, up 6-0 against the Rays.

It is more likely that the Astros are in the beginning of an 8-game winning streak. Just need Kalas to mention how many strikeouts Cole has twice every inning. That seemed to work last time.

"Runner" should not be used to describe White.

Reds broadcast team has been extremely critical of their own pitching. But it kicked our ass. And think the Johnny Bench award ceremony was pretty low budget and stuck in the 90's with a bad powerpoint presentation at a the El Royale Hall Club. Lame.

As for the Astros, this has to get turned around. It's as if they think they can just leave bowls of porridge in a window to cool off without a rabbit hopping by and taking a steaming dump in it.

What, you don't think he would have scored from 1st if Straw's smash got past the 1B?

He would have scored. Just on Marisnick's homer.

As long as Puig has his bat, Puig will be just fine not being liked by Cole.

The Cole and Marisnik at bats eerily similar.
