    i don't think there was ever any doubt he'd make the playoff roster... he's simply too valuable in the field (i mean.... wow!) and on the bases. add to that the fact that he's actually not a complete nothing at the plate anymore (not like earlier in the year at least) and it's a no-brainer for hinch.
