Astros alive and well for the division. Sweep Arizona, and Rangers lose 2 more, which they are more than capable of.
I'm rooting for us to win the division as long as it remains a mathematical possibility. A Rangers win would not have ended our chances, but it would have hurt them. We need to win all 3 vs Arizona, and the Mariners to take at least 3 (already took one) against the Rangers.
I couldn’t care less about them winning the division. The stros stink at home this year. If they’re going to do it this year again, it’s going to be the unconventional way. 2023 Stros on the road are just a different animal

Like I said unconventional. Not if that means more home games for this years stros. It sounds good home bye rest but I prefer the road stros. Just too much of a difference at this point
I personally don't think it is. At this point, I'm just worried about making the playoffs. Houston has to play a tough Arizona team and Seattle is now 1 game back. Would have preferred that it was 2. Even with the Rangers loss, Astros still back by 2 games. But hey maybe this loss by the Rangers turns out to be the what if moment for them and they miss the playoffs lol

Astros just gotta win 2 ****ing games man. That’s it. I’m glad the Rangers lost, because I still believe this team can find a way no matter. If they can’t win 2 in Arizona then so be it.
Mariners beating the Rangers increases the odds of us winning the division but also increases the odds of us missing the postseason outright. Astros just have to win the series against the D-Backs when it comes down to it.
