Astros runs per game 5.41 2017 5.51 2019 5.34 2021 5.11 2023 Since the all star break: 5.77 runs This is the best offense we have headed into the post season with.
No surprise this fact was the first-time fact. MMP has been an abberration this season. Astros have been great @ home for many years consecutive overall. Conclusion: the Astros are the AL pennant favorite. Most likely.... the Astros will NOT be under .500 at home this postseason and... Most likely... the Astros won't be below .500 on the road "Likely" always has chance to go sideways, but I'm confident. Stay tuned......
This is the most schtizo very good Astros team I've ever seen. They could wreck through the postseason, or they could whimper out, or anything in-between.
Rangers DeGrom Injured Out for Season, Jon Gray injury, Terrible Bullpen (Aroldis Chapman Blowing Games) Mariners GM has to get Fired trading away Kendall Graveman, Paul Sewald Two Important Bullpen Arms in 3 Seasons and that was always a difference of the Astros Winning a couple more games thanks to Graveman.
Texans Rookie Quarterback C.J Stroud became a Captain during Practice before the Season. He has yet to throw a Interception in his First 3 Games as a Rookie. He is a Leader. C.J Stroud, Yainer Diaz is proving Dusty Baker Wrong
When Springer is hot, he can win a short series on his own. Correa is dealing with plantar fasciitis. He was supposed to do a rehab stint with the AAA team last weekend and possible get playing time with Twins this weekend, but neither happened. Plus they may have to use the DH spot for Royce Lewis, so that kind of pain/discomfort while fielding for a SS? Even if he plays, he probably won't be super productive and he was having a bad season before the injury.
The Arizona Diamondbacks with the 1st Pick Selected SS Dansby Swanson passed on SS/3B Alex Bregman and OF Kyle Tucker. 1st Pick Dansby Swanson got traded very quickly
Carlos Correa Career is in Danger, I believe his Injury is caused by the plate and screws on his broken leg are caused by this problem.
In 2019, the Astros were 60-21 at home but struggled during the WS. Let's hope for the opposite this year!
Ahh yeah, forgot about how good he’s been for the most part. Kinda has fizzled out recently but let’s hope he finds that mojo asap.
I’ll eat my crow, I didn’t think they would make it since around late May. Now they’re in and the team most don’t want to face. My hopes to start the year were to continue the ALCS streak, accomplish that and it’s a success. Toronto will be tough though.
