How many pitchers should one take the over on 6 innings pitched right now? I'd guess it is usually about 15 across MLB, but a lot of the usual suspects for going past 6 are hurt or not pitching deep in games right now. The median start currently is likely about 4 or 4.1 innings (average is 4.2, but guessing median is slightly less).

Bryan Abreu and Jack Mayfield have been optioned, but they will remain on the Astros' taxi squad for this road trip. Teams had to trim their rosters to 28 today.

He ranked Garrett Stubbs second "because he came from USC, where they know how to bunt" Dusty Baker said Yordan Alvarez is taking BP and doing some running, while Jose Urquidy is throwing off a mound for the first time, either yesterday or today. "The cavalry’s a ways off," he said. Dusty Baker said Abreu came into summer camp overweight and out of shape. He also said Abreu was "thinking" too much while he was throwing. They needed to give him a mental break. RHP Ryan Pressly has pitched in only one game but Baker insists he's healthy and is looking for a spot to use him. Does anyone know much about Bielak's college career? I was looking up his stats and he was absolutely awful as a junior. In some ways it makes me wonder why he was drafted. Any word on what his issues were there? I've never heard of a college pitcher with a 5.5 era that was considered draftable (although his career ERA at Notre Dame was 3.85).
Most of our players they hate the most are around or below the Mendoza line. They are probably happy about that also.
Yeah that is rather bizarre. Was just looking that up myself. He didn't do great in the minors for 2019 either. Lol.
