    Eh. I have my worries about Gomez as well, but I think he'll be fine. He had two solid games back to back, but he's got to cut down on his K's....

    Its actually pretty uncharacteristic of him... he's notorious for swinging/missing at pitches in the zone... while laying off the bad ones (or making contact with them).

    not sure I agree with that. Maybe you are right but he seems very impatient and swings at balls a lot..

    His OBP and ability to draw walks (minors included) suggests otherwise.

    He actually does have a good eye... contact on balls in the zone have been the issues (that he vastly improved upon last year).

    fister's fast ball is like 2 miles per hour but he is working every corner. so far so nice.
