    as much as i liked caratini as an astros, i think vazquez is just a superior catcher.

    good thing vazquez rejoined the astros

    Biggest surprises so far are Joey showing last years OPS wasn’t a fluke and Walker deciding that he wanted to compete with Yordan and Altuve as the best hitter on the team. I’m hoping McCullers beats them by having the best season he’s had as an Astro.

    iirc, in the '22 WS run, CV caught something like 37 innings and the pitchers gave up 1 run

    Caught the final 12 innings of the 1-0 18 inning Seattle win, a shutout at Yankee Stadium, and a combined no hitter in the WS. Not a bad run for a catcher.
