    If Pettis knew he'd take a leisurely jog he would have held him. That should have been safe or a bang bang play at the plate.

    Did he feel he had the run scored and held up, or did he slow after realizing the throw had him beat easily. He kept looking back, and then slowed down. So I kinda feel it was the latter. Either way, poor baserunning.

    He wasn't pushing it hard and thought it was going to be an easy score.

    This team isn't playing with the fire that's needed at the moment. I do know it's a long season but they are playing for something right now. Home field should be on their minds...

    The thing that worries me most about this team is their inability to manufacture runs when they get lead off doubles. That's going to be an issue come playoff time.
