    Did you actually see his hand on the bag? No it was obscured by Maldonados shoe. He couldve easily been touching his shoe which was right above the bag.

    MLB Review can splice together different angles so they can see them simultaneously, unlike the TV broadcast. They can see the angle with the hand hitting the plate time-synced with the one that shows the glove touching the runner.

    Of course there is.

    He’s had a bounce back year though. And he filled in admirably when Giles the head case went nuts.

    But he’s been flirting with serious danger even in the games he was successful in... some of his pitches deserve to get hammered.
