Lol this game is over and the Astros have nothing to play for even if they lose. No point in risking injury to your superstars. Hinch will probably get the bottom of the bullpen in once Cole gets two more strikeouts.

I feel like Cole really likes this team. Let's hope he will take a marginally smaller salary for the Astros vs the highest bidder.

I read that earlier on the At Bat app. Good article; worth a read. He says he likes to make his pitchers figure out tough situations.

When "all" the Astro hitters are connecting, I think the team is unbeatable. I am a bit worried about Alvarez. Everybody else seems to be warming up.

 

I hope. The interview with his parents made it sound like it's ultimately a dream job for him to get to play for the Angels, the team he watched from this stadium growing up. However, there's still time for that later in his career. This Astros team is something he'll never see the likes of again.

 

Abreu excites me. Kid's got mad spin and no fear. He just tore through two innings like nothing.

 

Hope he makes the playoff roster.
