With Verlander & Cole closing out the year, home field vs Dodgers is pretty much locked in as well

Sure would have liked to have gotten last night...then we would have had Home Field on both...it was there for the taking. We still just need one more, we can get it !

Dude, it's baseball. That's how things work. Just 1 hit many innings later can change any game, especially with this team. I mean just a week ago we were down on the Stros vs Royals being tied at 1 in the 9th and a 3 run Springer Dinger happened. Then we all went to bed with chubs.

Two games left to secure home field advantage in the entire playoffs. One of the two pitchers starting each of those games will win the AL Cy Young Award. Feels good.

Exciting...but I'd have to put the Rockets b2b Championships there with it.

Tomorrow's starter for LA has a 7.5 ERA or something. Sunday's starter for LA isn't much better. I'd be disappointed if the Astros don't finish with 107 wins.

    Yeah, it's a great accomplishment.

The caveat detracts if thinking all/most players All-time.

My bad for the initial overlook.

Twins hit 100 wins. First time in major league history that there have been four 100-win teams in a season. In only eight seasons have there been three or more 100-win teams. In four of those eight seasons, the Astros were one of those 100-win teams.

Yeah, I'll take Urquidy in game 4. Won't feel great about it given his inconsistency, but I trust it much more than Mileys recent consistency.

Have James or Peacock ready to go early.

for sure but man that first world series was just too great. Mind you i was still in diapers for the 94 championship but I mean beating LA in their place was nice.

Feel bad for Miley. Good for the whole season but the very last month and now he won't even make the postseason roster.

That's disgusting and perverted. Why would anyone watch a championship in diapers?

Mariners score 2 in bottom of the 9th to beat the As. Who would you rather face, As or Rays?

7 of 9 pitches were balls. That qualifies as miracle. Saint Harris.

Ray's obviously. The A's have both Montas and Manaea back and they destroyed both the Astros and Yankees in September. Plus they have an actual bullpen with a lights out closer who owned us. Plus no West Coast games of course.
