Time to close thread. Queue the Yankees v Astros ALCS thread. Time to shut them up for good

Astros could sweep them and they still wouldn’t shut up and have excuses.

Baseball is entertainment for children. It is insulting to everyone involved to expect people to keep their children away so you can behave badly with impunity. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Nah what matters who is a better organization. And yet again it’s clearly the stros. Whatever you’re trying to tell yourself you’re this #1 rockets fan literally means absolutely nothing. You’re nobody to tell somebody else what they can follow and what they can’t. Foh with that bs

Who said anything about expecting people to keep their children away? I never said I used profanity. Of what should I be ashamed, exactly?

Reading comprehension is a useful skill. Go Stros!

You did. "I think it's a little silly to bring children to a playoff baseball game and expect them to be sheltered from profanity." Lowering the standards of public decorum by accepting, encouraging or by participating in shameful behavior are all demeaning acts. Pretending you did not do just that after you obviously did is demeaning of yourself.

I'm afraid you're having trouble understanding.

You accused me of "expecting people to keep their children away", which I never even came close to doing. I even said you could use other people using profanity as a way to teach them something; perhaps how to talk trash with more class, using contrast?

I think teaching children there's only one way to think and communicate is the actual definition of demeaning, don't you?

    Go Stros.

    The Saga of BS continues

Every opponent who beats the Astros suddenly become "un-hot" the following season(s)

2018 - Boston can't make the playoffs afterwards
2019 - Nationals can't make the playoffs afterwards
2020 - Rays' each seasonal outcome has gotten worse and worse
2021 - Braves can't even make the LCS afterwards

There are more factors true, but the fact still remains: Stros losses are lighting-in-the-bucket

    Win another championship please

Looking back at the past ALCS matchup, the astros have only advance on odd year.

    2017 Astros vs Yankees
    2018 Astros vs Red Sox
    2019 Astros vs Yankees
    2020 Astros vs Rays
    2021 Astros vs Red Sox
    2022 Astros vs Yankees

and since 2017, it has always been the AL East team in the ALCS. If the trend continues, the astros won't advance this year.

Let's see how this play out.

Means absolutely nothing, lol. Who gives a **** about odd and even years. We lose most of the time in odd years anyway in the WS.
