San Francisco 49ers @ Atlanta Falcons - 2 PM CST, FOX Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots - 5:30 PM CST, CBS My Prediction: 49ers vs Patriots in the SB.
Would like to see a rematch between the Patriots and 49ers. But I'd also like to see Ray Lewis go out on a positive note so I'll be pulling for the Ravens. Ravens/49ers doesn't seem that bad.
I really want to see 49ers and Patriots in another epic thriller. But part of me wants to see a dirty birds showdown. Ray Lew vs. Matty Fraud.
Don't know why people want Ray Lewis to go out with a ring... he already has one. Hope Tony Gonzalez gets one.
I want the Pats to lose. That's 90% of it. The other 10% is wanting the Ravens to lose. I'm good with either NFC team. My prediction is 49ers vs. Pats.
Ravens are a little underrated here. Their defense only allowed 21 points to Manning on the road at high altitude. That was only the 2nd game they had their big 4 on defense back all year. And I'm sure their D will play better next week. Plus, their new O-line has been awesome as Flacco hasn't been touched so far in 2 playoff games. I expect a very tight game in Foxboro, but still give the edge to the Pats. I expect the 49ers to win in their game, but with the monkey of of ATL's back, they may take their game to another level. Regardless, we will have 2 great games.
the ravens have the personnel to stop that gimmicky offense, but I think hoody will counter by blitzing flacco early and often, something denver didn't do. they allowed him to roast marshmallows back there. By the time they sent pressure, flacco was in full rhythm. I want patriots and 49ers just to see the 49ers D give those small receivers concussions in the superbowl and have gisselle make post game tweets.
Have to give to JH, he was bold and drafted a QB when he had a good QB in smith last year. Now they look set at the QB position for a long time unless CK get hurt. Not to mention he can probably trade Smith for a good draft pick.
umm, don't think the 49ers would do the trade, but nice try though. I think 49ers would take draft picks for Smith.
