I am surprised that no one has said 82-0 and 16-0. :D

I got a $200 bet with someone that says the Rockets will be the 3rd seed. So, whatever record that takes is what they're gonna do. I guess that's like

    57-25

and I expect them to at least make it to the

    Western Conference Finals

    57 and 25.

I can see us getting to the NBA Finals, but losing in 6. :(

Yao will average 25 points and 11 rebounds a game.

McGrady will get around 21 points a game.

Novak will average 11.8 (or something near 12).

Battier will be solid with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and great defense.

That's not enough to get a third seed. Both the Spurs and the Mavs will likely win more than that. Probably 60+. Which means the Rockets, in all likelihood, will not seed higher than 5th.

I expect the Rockets to win 51 games, after another typical slow start. We'll beat the Nuggets in the first round (assuming McGrady and Yao are healthy). I don't think we'd be able to beat the Suns, Mavs, or Spurs however.

My prediction for the Rockets this season:

    65-17...best record in the NBA

NBA champions winning in 6 games over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Come on guys... I thought you are supposed to be die hard Rockets fans...

    82-0

First Round Curse Stays. On the good news, it'll take a full 7 games in the first round before we exit.
