Guess Larry Andersen owes them both a simulated beer.

    Depends on perspective....

In this comparison.... Tyson And Boston are the shiney/popular object.

Astros are THE defending championship -- Holyfield.

These facts are obvious yet you responded complete opposite..... Agenda much ??

I had forgotten the fight failed to live up to expecations.

Maybe a better example is the 90's Cowboys against the 90's 49ers. Two absolutely stacked teams better than the majority of previous SB Champions. One of their games in 95 was really epic with the Cowboys falling down 21-0 but nearly coming back.

I see this series being more like that (back and forth, blow for blow) then just some butt whopping some here are expecting.

Tyson-Holyfield 1 was a battle royale. The rematch was the disaster.

Astros in 4. We are the Jerry Maguire of the baseball world. And Osuna completed me.

    Relief Pitching and Closer Added
    Power
    Speed
    Fielding
    5 aces
    Pinch Runners Added
    Defensive Catcher Added
Utility man and decent pinch hitters

Is there literally anything else to improve on at this point.

    There are no weak links.

Only Angel Hernandez can stop us now.

I was thinking about this the other day. Do they have a weak link? At full strength, I'd argue that they do not. But with Correa hurt, I do worry about the middle of their line-up. Gonzalez was terrific in the ALDS - but, generally, Gurriel and Gonzalez can be streaky (Gurriel 2 for 17 in LDS) and White remains a bit of an unproven wild card (he was... fine in the LDS). And, of course, there's Correa continued struggles.

If some combination of those four aren't getting it done, that could be problematic. I think the Red Sox have - right now - a better, more reliable middle of the order.

I want every city’s fan base to hate us.
Correa’s back and Altuve’s impatience. If those two were to correct then these Astros wouldn’t lose a game to anyone. Roster is suffocating.

Stay humble and hungry fellas, baseball is a fickle b****, at any point guys can go in slumps, all world talent pitchers can get shelled etc.

So thankful last year Springer got hot like he did. Very thankful Marwin got hot against the Indians.

All that said I do have confidence that we have enough depth of talent in our lineup that not everyone can be suppressed.

And thankfully Luhnow added Cole, Pressly, Osuna, etc. Masterful moves.

The fact that we're getting to reset the pitching rotation because of all the rest is so great. That, more than anything, really tips it in our favor for me.

And as much as the team always confounds me, they've built up such a history of winning somehow some way that it can't be denied.

    Astros in 5.

I'm with you. Our offense can be streaky at times. It was last year with the Yankees in the ALCS. We averaged 2.85 runs per game in that series.
This series will again come down to pitching and that should be advantage Astros.

This could actually be a real factor. Not sure if was more of Yankee Stadium or the cold last postseason, but they didn't play very well in the cold in NYC.

They didn't play too terribly in Boston last year... idk what the temp was but they won one and were competitive in the other.

*Edit - apparently it was in the 70's when we played in Boston... 13 hits in game 3 and 12 hits in game 4 just btw.

That and weather was not the reason they lost all 3 in Yankee stadium.
