I'm against the death penalty and will support anything that lessens it. The problem with the death penalty is that there is always a margin of error in it. We can say that we only reserve the death penalty for the worse of the worse but there always will be the possibilty that we are putting to death the wrong person. As long as we have the option of life without parole where at least within that person's natural life span there is still the chance that a miscarriage of justice can be rectified.
