http://www.nytimes.com/2002/04/24/sports/basketball/24WOOD.html "N.B.A. operatives are reluctant to speak on the record about prospects, but in March, B. J. Johnson, a scout for the Houston Rockets, spoke of Woods to The San Diego Union-Tribune: "He's already a lottery pick." And in analyzing the draft for USA Today, Eddie Johnson, the former N.B.A. player, discouraged most of the high school players and college underclassmen who were contemplating an early entry. But three players, he wrote, are ready for the N.B.A. now: Jason Williams, the Duke junior; the freshman Dajuan Wagner of Memphis (who has decided to enter the draft); and Woods. Johnson said that Woods, "at 6-9, has tremendous ball-handling and shot-making skills, which is the mold of the prototype small forward in the N.B.A."
I don't have the link and I think it's common knowledge but Woods is supposed to be in Washington, DC working out with Adrian Dantley to improve his postup game. Unless the Rockets can package picks to move Rice's contract, Qyntel Woods is fine with me.
Woods will one day be one of the best players in the world. Maybe even top five with all his upside. I think he has the ability to be better than T-Mac from reading all these scouting reports. I think The Rockets should do everything Possible to try and land Woods. I seriously Chris Wilcox or Butler have Awesome work outs with teams. So We snatch the next young superstar this league will know
Poor guy... I laughed for about 10 minutes when I was that name. Tell me it doesn't sound like the name of some p*rn star.
