Just now on Espn they reported that Ewing was headed to one of the Miami teams...I didn't catch the whole thing only the end, i don't know if they were reporting speculation or facts. If anyone knows please respond ------------------
Um...exactly how many Miami teams are there? ------------------ http://www.cld9.com/chris/nbau.html [This message has been edited by SteveFrancis3 (edited July 11, 2001).]
As for Ewing going to either Miami or Orlando, I have heard this rumor as well. I personally believe he'll backup fellow Hoya Mourning in Miami.
Come on Patrick Ewing you can do that conga, you know you can't control yourself any longer... ------------------
I don't know maybe its just personal bias but I can't see Ewing as a good fit on either of those teams. Actually i think its just time for him to call it a career, he looks like he's in pain just running up and down the court. ------------------
I don't think Ewing would mind at all coming off the bench in Miami, and playing with his friend Zo, and playing with his old coach Riley. I've heard rumors that if he did go back to Miami would start at center, and Zo would move to PF, but I think Miami is better off with Zo starting at center and Grant at PF. The magic need some help up front, Horace Grant is a nice addition, Ewing just doesn't fit on a high octane team like the Magic though. ------------------ "Instruments are like women: After a while, you want to make love to another." - Nicolas Godin of the musical duo Air
If you think Hakeem's skills have diminished.... ------------------ T-Pooh and Quitten went up the hill, to make a bet on a Foreward. When it all came down, they were nowhere to be found. Now they should be drawn and quartered.
They could play a 3-man rotation with Zo, Pat, and Grant. ------------------ The title will come to ClutchCity once again.
Ewing's going to the Magic along with Horace Grant, the deal is likely to be closed sometime today. Then again, that's from Peter Vescey, so take it as you may. Article can be found at the bottom of www.nypost.com/sports/sports.shtml ------------------
I'm just worried about Patrick and his financial situation. I hope he can survive on 4-5 million a year. ------------------ the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be.

Patrick will sign a deal for $2M/year with a second year option, with the Miami Heat on July 18. ------------------
Really? The Heat? Orlando seems so much more logical. Is it a Zo thing or a Riley thing? ------------------ "banging Shaq is a whole different expirience"-Pete Babcock Behold the power of quotation [This message has been edited by Ziggy (edited July 12, 2001).]
