    Well, this is also probably Backe's regular day to throw, so I'm sure he could go an inning or 2 if we REALLY need someone. Right now I'd rather risk that then go with Gallo or Springer.

    this may mean nothing but lidge could swing bat decently for a pitcher and is 2-7 in career in MLB.
