i hate this song so much. they make canadian music look bad. seriously, canada has a lot of really talented, good bands and when i tell people, they go "you mean like nickleback?"
You guys need to shut up, Nickelback is easily one of the top 2 or 3 bands on the music scene today. Every song they write is a lyrical gem with mind-blowing artistic merit. You're just haters.

I wouldn't go THAT far. I do sort of agree with you though. Lyrically, I think their songs are dumb, but lyrics are pretty much the last thing I really care about in music. I think this thread is just full of music elitists who look upon all mainstream music as crap. While Nickelback has repeated the same formula over and over again, they're popular for a reason. Hating on them or any other rock group that sold out to mainstream pop music is just the en vogue thing to do these days. Funny thing is...you can't really say Nickelback "sold out" seeing as how their songs have pretty much been the same (albeit exactly the same) since the very beginning.
