One very minor point with the comment on injuries... You mention that "we've been there". Actually, we are there. We have two starters out for the season... Just like Dallas.

Now I'll shut up before I say anything else and jinx us.

I'm pretty sure dragician was joking/trolling... but it seems you took it seriously.

Mark Cuban is an idiot. You think his idiotic comments fired up the Mavs fans? I think they fired up the Rockets. Even Dirk and Carlisle have said they wish Cuban would STFU sometimes.

Dallas is the finest city in all of Oklahoma. Dallas is also a douche magnet so that helps keep Houston douche free. Thanks, Dallas.

    Dear Dallas,

You got Parsons this year, I hope next year you get Lin also.

Yes, but he left Cleveland to form the Heatles and was denied by giving up the series lead in which his team was heavily favored and had home court advantage, losing in six games, allowing the Mavericks to hoist the trophy on Miami's court.

    That's pretty big lulz.

Mavs outplayed themselves that year, really overachieved given they had a near 40 yr old Point Guard.

Chemistry juice wasn't flowing so well in their 1st year in Miami (Heatles)

Thank you Dallas for Jason Terry and Corey Brewer. I can't say thank you enough.

And thank you for being a city that accepts men who where capri pants and carry manbags. You've given our little Chandler a place he is accepted and appreciated.

    Gracias mi amigo.

    Dear Dallas,

Rebuilding isn't that bad. Might I suggest that you find a better center like Chuck Hayes, to anchor your defense. Getting 9th place for 4 or 5 years can pay off. I'm not sure how it did, but it did. Also, finding a GM that doesn't overpay role players is a must. Paying gold prices for fools gold is a bad idea. At least he only has 2 years left on his contract! That's something to look forward to!!!

    luv
    -don g

p.s. I really like Dirk's upper lip. Maybe he could wear some lipstick on it so you can see it better.

I cheered for the "hated Mavs" in their championship series. I know some Rocket's fans think that is horrible, but it was Texas against Florida. Had to go with Texas.

I have actually always been a Dirk fan. He is a great player. Just hope he doesn't go "retro" tonight.

Always been impressed with Monte's offensive skills. Just not tonight.

I find Barea very annoying, but that's not positive. Their coach looked better when he had hair; kind of reminded me of Jim Carrey.

I get that Dallas and Houston are rival cities, and the majority of Rockets fans live in Houston.

But if anything this board has shown it is that the Rockets fan base is much larger than Houston. Why do we want to insult the city of Dallas when a lot of good Rockets fans live there and enjoy living there?

For the record, I don't live in Dallas. I just think that pro sport teams aren't about the city anymore in this day and age. It should be about the Dallas Mavericks, not about the Dallas Mavericks.

Because Parsons said that the Dallas city is cleaner than the Houston city, that is why.
