Madden, No other NFL game can beat the gameplay.

probably Madden. Never played nfl2k2, but nba2k2 was really good. So I am still not sure, I always liked NFL Gameday on Playstation more than Madden.

Madden 2002 on XBOX is very nice.

I was a big madden fan but after I played NFL 2K on Dreamcast bout 3 years ago, I was amazed. Afterwards I played NBA 2K and I just converted from EA to Sega Sports. Visual Concepts are a bunch of GODs at making sports games. There graphics are unbelieveable and their gameplay is top notch. I played Madden 2002 when i got my XBox and I wasnt into it as much as I was before when I played it on PSone and Super NES. The same goes for the NBA Live series. Everything just seem the same with updated rosters every year.

As for which one I am going to buy, I going to get NFL Fever 2003 on Xbox this year, since I bought NFL 2K2 last January. I plannning to switch series every year.

yeah, I am thinking about switching over to 2k. I am sort of sick of madden himself. I am definitely still getting NCAA 2003, I won't be able to export draft classes, but I loved 2002 a ton.

Who does the announcing for NFL 2k series?

The Madden gameplay is more realistic in my opinion. The difference is apparent in the running game especially. In 2k2, you can move your guy very jerkily. I almost never get tackled running up the middle. I just jerk him around really quickly. Also, on defense, its so easy to get sacks. Not so with Madden.

Probaly neither NCAA 2k3 is a great game. i prefer the college game to. NFL 2k1 on the dreamcast was absolutely the worst football game i ever played. So Ill get madden if i decide to get a NFL game this year

I just started 2k3. I'm a rookie to the game, but after 2 pre-season games I like it a lot. Everything is much easier to get a grip on than in the Madden game. I can actually complete passes without too much thought at the pro level.

ESPN is great. Highlights are awesome.

    Negatives thus far:
I might not be getting it, but I didn't see different return schemes on kickoffs.

    If I have a 3-4 defense, can I pick a 4-3?

I've had a hard time figuring out the FG's. I've even missed a few x-tra points, but I'll figure it out.

I got Madden, just like I do every year. I am still thinking of picking up 2K3 though, it is a damn good game in it self this year too. The ESPN menus and layout they put in the game I thought were very creative. As far as Madden, its still great, but I cant see hardly any difference this year with the exception of Al Michaels in the booth.

I bought Madden 2003 on Friday. It is great....practice modes, 2-minute drills, fantasy drafts....

Plus in 8 days I can play my buddy in New York online with my new PS2 online adapter!!!!!

Great read. Kinda funny. Reminds me of wasting away my college years on tecmo football. Game was addictive.

I'm not very far in, but franchise in 2k3 is pretty damn good. There is scouting, mock drafts, putting players up for trade, combines, and all the other stuff that madden had. Sounds cool. Can't wait to try it out.
