Man watching Devante Adams jump over his defender to catch passes makes me think of how Jordan Thomas could be. I know he is not a WR but he did play one in college and he at least has the height to make plays like that. Why isn't he or Akins being used like they should?
It’s a shame we’ve had to watch the greatest qb have his prime wasted on that garbage team. Him and Watson are like the Spider-Man meme, except one Spider-Man is much better than the other.
The last two offensive drives, were bad, the coach seems like he only wanted to take time off the clock and they just played too conservative, and rodgers made them pay.
I know Beathard was terrible last season (as a rookie) but he clearly has gotten a lot better and I think will continue to improve. As a 9er fan, I'm hoping he can play like this and we can flip him to some team for a solid draft pick (obviously Jimmy is our guy). He's a big dude with a strong arm and was drafted in the 3rd round just last year. He is tough as nails. The upside is clearly there. Rough part is, he does hold onto the ball too long sometimes, he has made crucial mistakes late in each of the previous 3 games and sometimes he tends to make it obvious where he's going with the ball (also has had some ball security issues as well). But he's a young player who has been improving and should continue to improve.
That game was so rigged tho. Buckner sacks Rodgers on 3rd down and they call some phantom penalty on Sherman down the field like ok.
