Damn it's been a (rough) year for him. Feel awful for him (but not Jerrah/Cowboys). Get well Dak.

2020 a great year for terrible people. I'm not that cynical though.

Daks ankle was facing East when it should have been facing north! Oh man that was gruesome!

How's it been rough for Dak this year? Are you only talking about his contract situation?

Because he's getting paid over $30M guaranteed this year. I don't feel bad for him financially whatsoever.

Didn't see it live. Do I even want to watch a replay of it?

Was it like what happened to Gordon Hayward?

The flipside is that wanting to maximize his money instead of taking the $200MM offered might now be a costly decision.

I despise the cowboys but I’d never wish ill on anyone. That really sucks for Dak because 1) that’s a nasty injury and 2) he was offered like $100mm guaranteed (if memory serves me right).

While that’s not Mahomes or just under Watson money, that’s a lot of ****ing money. Now he’ll have to earn that money through rehab and determination ,above and beyond, what he’s already accomplished. As they say in the real work, greed can kill.

On a positive note for Dak's future: Alex Smith made it back onto the field today, after the worst leg injury I've seen since Theisman or Krumrie. Watch the 30-for-30 if you really want to know what he fought through.

    Much respect for that guy.

eta: but back to Dak...football or lottery, you always take the guaranteed cash asap

    Yeah
He was being too greedy or his agent got him suckered. He’s not better than Watson and definitely not Mahommes.
He should have taken the money this is DMo situation
