bush and young = arguably the weakest 2nd/3rd draft picks in the same year of all time?

**thanks to lil pun for the correction**

feel for the 49ers. They let that game slip away from them. I swear, the Saints have some serious voodoo magic on their side.

Not even close. There are probably many other years where there was worse than Bush/Young.

    1998: Ryan Leaf/Andre Wadsworth.

Dang, now the Saints wont get those 50* all purpose yards per game.

    *40 from kick returns.

Whoa: Andy Reid names Michael Vick as team's starting quarterback.

From the way the Eagles are handling this Mike Vick announcement, it sounds as if he has won the job for good. Amazing.

I fully admit Kevin played like a dogs**t taco Week 1.

But really Eagles? You draft your "QB of the future" and you give him HALF A GAME before pulling the plug?

    Talk about short leashes.

My team is toooo strong at quarterback now. I got Matt Schaub, backed up by McNabb, backed up by Vick. If only someone would take one of them so I could get a decent running back.

    I agree.

...but not playing Vick is a waste of some serious talent.

I agree, but Vick has played too well to keep on the bench.

haha short leashes, Michael Vick, I c wat u did thar.

I think the Eagles really had to consider what the best move for the football team was going to be and Vick has simply looked too good to keep on the bench.

But this can't be an easy decision for Reid. You ride the hot hand, even if it makes Reid look a tad bit foolish for chasing McNabb out of town and putting all his faith behind Kolb and then giving up on him after 6 quarters.
