I think the Texans would fare well against any team besides New England, but Pittsburgh @ Heinz would be a horrible match up for them.

Yup. Thats why I think their scenario for playoff success depends on them avoiding Pittsburgh/Baltimore.

I think we'd do better with the Bengals winning the North over Pitt, assuming Pitt falls below wild card contention. If you're looking at the wild card matchup then rooting for the bengals to start losing and giving up the division makes sense.

Anybody know where I can get one of those sprinkle toboggans the teams were wearing?

I'd imagine NFL.com, but dear god, why would you want one? My buddy and I were just discussing how absolutely horrid those things look. It's like they decided to re-visit early 90s bad fashion choices. Something akin to the Rockets having a retro night and wearing the flying dildos.

I was kind of surprised by that gesture by McNabb last night after the game.

I'm not, I mean McNabb has been put through the ringer various times during his career in Philly. Chicago and Philly are fairly tough towns to play in when things aren't going well, think he totally understands were Cutler is right now.

True but I've never seen him take a young QB like that and have such a long conversation with him. Maybe it was because Cutler was booed multiple times during the game and had a bad game period. It was definitely good to see though and don't get me wrong, I'm not berating him at all as I think McNabb is one of the truly under appreciated stars of the NFL, especially by fans of his own team.

Well our big Charger fan (post ^) has probably been waiting for me to say something....

Not much to say other than it didn't come as a surprise to me. Simms is a disaster and Orton really isn't much better and especially if he is not 100%. But I don't think Denver would have won anyway if Orton had been 100% because they have seriously lost their momentum. If they miss the playoffs, it will be because of the Redskins game. That game was the turning point in their season. It was a game they should have won and should have won easily.

Oh and Phillip Rivers is a ginormous punk and that face he is making is also causing me to lololololololololololol.

You guys racked up on old FA's. It worked for what? 6-7 weeks? Dawkins is injured already. It was bound to happen. Even though I hate Josh McDaniels, I do not blame this collapse on him.

I do however blame him for bringing in Kyle Orton and never taking him out. You're potentially risking your franchise QB's career with that stunt.

(That River's face has been out for a while, I admittedly lol'd too)
