Texans should draft Barkley or Nassib. 4th round and later is absolutely the time to risk it on a QB. I also like Tyler Bray, but in the 5th.
10 best available players, according to Kiper. 1. QB Matt Barkley, USC Ranked No. 1 on my Big Board entering the season, Barkley was the fourth-best player available coming into Day 2. It's surprising that he's still around, but that's due in part to the terrific rookie class of QBs in last year's draft. An accurate and intelligent quarterback, I'd be shocked if he didn't go early in Day 3. 2. S Shamarko Thomas, Syracuse My fourth-ranked safety coming into the draft, Thomas is a physical player who isn't afraid to come up and hit you. Confident despite his height, his lack of ideal size (5-foot-8) is the biggest reason that he's lasted this long. 3. LB Khaseem Greene, Rutgers A tackling machine, Green is a prototypical weakside linebacker in the NFL. He has good skills in coverage and great read-and-react ability. A solid player. 4. LB Cornelius Washington, Georgia A bit of a tweener, Washington fits as either an outside linebacker in a 3-4 or a defensive end in a 4-3. He didn't have great numbers his senior year, but he jumped out on film. An amazing athlete, the big question for him is why he didn't dominate his entire career. 5. QB Ryan Nassib, Syracuse Remember when he was a possibility at No. 8 to Buffalo? Nassib is good but not great in a lot of areas, but the one thing he does have is an NFL arm. He can drive the ball down the field and is incredibly tough. 6. WR Quinton Patton, Louisiana Tech Patton has strong hands and very good ball skills. He shows good burst out of his break, but needs to work on drops. He had great production last season. 7. DT Jesse Williams, Alabama One of the strongest defensive tackles I've seen, Williams has a chance to be a good 3-4 nose tackle in the league. 8. TE Dion Sims *, Michigan State A big tight end (6-5, 263), Sims showed flashes of big-time ability. He's a gifted receiver down the field and has high upside. 9. LB Steve Beauharnais, Rutgers Beauharnais is a versatile player who can sort through traffic to make plays. Only average in coverage, he is a very good run-stuffer and tackler. 10. CB Jordan Poyer, Oregon State Poyer is an athletic corner who has good ball skills. He held his own against a number of impressive wideouts in the Pac-12. He does need some time in the weight room to improve his upper body strength.
Bands usually wish for the best And he's not the best. But he's good enough that not just anyone is better

understand teams being scared about injuries...so lattimore gets passed...but has the rebounds not taught them anything. gore had a bad knee injury..dudes a stud. knee ACL/PCL/MCL what not injuries are not career death sentences like they used to be. 49ers are killing this draft
