Marty never won the Big one either though.

Norv is not a good coach.

He's a great offensive mind, but he's a terrible coach.

    moes,

That's true but Marty did reach 3 conference championship games compared to only 1 for Norv. Marty has had some bad luck and misfortune but overall I believe him to be a good coach whereas Norv just isn't that good of a coach.

Doesen't explain WHY firing Marty was a pro, at all. Marty was a loser when it came playoff time.

    I don't want either.

Marty was very old and had a huge history of choking in the playoffs that spanned over 3 competitive teams.

I do not think he would have ever reached a Super Bowl.

Everyone knew his conservative style of offense was on its way out of fashion in the NFL.

Erratic rookie QBs need a ball-control offense.

Ouch my Cowboys couldn't protect the QB and it was all down hill from there. Not the way I wanted the season to end.

Jets pulled out the tough victory in SD which I didn't expect.

I think Minny takes NO and Indy takes out the Jets... but I could be wrong.

I just got back and found out the Jets won. My Colts get a bye into the Super Bowl to go against either the Vikings or Saints, two teams I like.

These playoffs have been mostly boring but it's all good. Too bad I missed the 2nd half of the one exciting game.

Kaeding should be able to make a 38 & 40 yarder in his sleep. I guess Schott didn't get any love from kickers either now that I think about it.

Funny how the Jets season should have ended in week 16. Would be classic if the Colts manage to lose next week.
