Cowboys aren't great at stopping yards but are great at preventing touchdowns. Super underrated defense.
It’s funny you say that cause Texans have the worst offensive line in the league by far and Watson got sacked 62 times and they still managed to average 25 ppg, in spite of O’Brien’s “horrible play calling.” Colts on the other hand only scored an average of 27 ppg behind that great colts offensive line which only allowed 18 sacks all season. We’ve seen what an improved oline did for luck. Now imagine what the Texans could do with a revamped offensive line. The sky is the limit. But don’t let the facts get in the way of your narrative.
He is definitely the most fun QB to watch. He is so good at looking another direction to throw off defenders then throwing a diff direction. His amazes me with his arm and across body throws. I can't imagine how good he will be in 5 years and more experience.
It might seem that way but Luck's QBR was almost 10 pts higher tonight than Watson had when they beat us.
I know all of you on here hate Bill O'Brien but it could be worse. You could have Jason Garrett as your HC and Jerry Jones as your team owner.. He does just enough year in and year out and sucks up to the owner to keep his job. I don't think Cowboys take the next step until they get rid of Garrett and get a real coach who actually runs the team and drafts and develops players. This effort tonight is a giant step sideways or backwards as they settle for another early exit and another so so season. It gets old after a while.
Luck had a 23.3 QBR and Watson had 19.6. But Luck did rack up some garbage time yards and completions at the end of the game.
it's amazing it's a one score game at this point. now, cowboys defense has to make a stop or force a turnover.
