Football in Houston seems cursed period. But the Oilers for all of their bad luck were still far more successful and respected than the Texans overall.

Mahomes is amazing. I hope he stays healthy. He is going to be fun to watch for years to come.

Nice job by KC keeping Luck and Colts off the field.

    *sigh*.
The Oilers name is owned by the Titans. Bud Adams requested the NFL retire the name and no other team would be allowed to use it....EVER (so Houston could NEVER use it). The Oilers name is more cursed than the Texans name could ever be. The Texans WERE NEVER CALLED THE OILERS. Bob McNair did not want any association with the the Oilers' name. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. STOP BRING IT UP. LOL.

"This is utterly ridiculous." - Cris Collinsworth as the Colts jump again

Damn, don't let Cris do a Texans game. ;)

I am aware of that and did not mean to UPSET YOU. There are cases of other teams that had there franchises leave and another franchise come in later and end up restoring the original name. That is all I was trying to point out.

Why aren’t we criticizing frank Reich or John Harbaugh for their “horrible play calling” like we do with obrien?

Colts only have one touchdown and that was from a blocked punt.

...Because no one here has spent time or money on the Colts or Ravens franchises?

Not about being UPSET. It is about people bring up something that was debated over and over YEARS ago.

That happened ONCE in the modern NFL. The Browns (The Browns owner that was leaving Cleveland was in favor of leaving the name in Cleveland). The Ravens name was chosen to tie the moved to the Baltimore (Like the Titans). However, Bud Adams was a petty man. He made sure that Houston could NEVER use the Oilers name. The other leagues it has happened was the NBA and NHL. The owners of the name did not FIGHT to keep those name when they left a city and change to other names.

The Oilers are in the Past. Leaving them there. I grew up rooting for Luv Ya Blue......but I moved on when the Texans arrived.

BTW....There are more people in the city that have NEVER rooted for the Oilers, than did. The Texans' fan base is much larger. If you are 22-23 years old, you never saw an oiliers game in Houston.

Huge break for Colts. But KC gets it back. It's time for KC to finish them off.

I know the Chiefs have 24 points on the board, but their defense has been the real star of this game.

If the Texans defense played as well last week as the worst defense in the NFL has this week, they might have won.

O'Brien already has an established history of suspect coaching.

But most Texans fans told me Reich and Harbaugh and a number of other coaches are better than obrien and it’s not even close.

How can that be when Reich hasn’t even scored one td against one of the worst defenses?

When you have one of the worst coaches in the league, almost every other coach is better.

Also, one game does not a whole season make. Colts were one of the hottest teams coming into this game; let's not take that away from them.
