I REPEAT, the STUPID Texans and their STUPID Coach had a shot to develop Keenum, but didn't. Yes, others passed on him too. Nevertheless, he is gritty. He is determined. And he was just part of a Minnesota Miracle. I am so happy for him. He is a great person and a hard worker. And he just did something that few have done. I hope the Vikings keep him. I think he can have a successful career in their system.
There have been playoff stories like this before. Jim Harbaugh with the Colts comes to mind. Shurmer is responsible for the system, hence why when he leaves, the theory is that Case will be best served by following him.
Im very happy for keenum and hope he wins the superbowl. Hes a good dude and a cougar. I dont regret losing him though. We have young deshaun watson. Dude could be a legend if he stays healthy.
lamo if the end of saints Vikings won't prove that rocketstruth is right all along idk what will The saint litteraly got out of Digg's way and laid a block on his own teammate. He got big shekels for that
If you are saying demand for tickets for SB52 from people around the USA (and world) is less than for a normal SB in a good climate, I get it. But that's a unique situation to the SB being in a city with expected temps of near zero (F). Otherwise, there are plenty of well-off fans willing to pony up and take a vacation wrapped around a Super Bowl. Miami and New Orleans would have no crowd advantage should they play a home SB. Vikings? Maybe.
The more and more I look at that replay the more you start to wonder... I mean that safety just blatantly made a terrible play.....
Btw, legally, the NFL is legally defined as "entertainment", not a sport, making it legal to fix the outcomes. The Failcons owner is on record saying that the SB is predetermined. Championships are used as a way to reward owners for advancing the league. Art Modell was rewarded with one after taking football to Baltimore, he sold the team for a then record amount. Bud Adams was rewarded with an appearance instead of a win because while he got a great stadium deal, the NFL lost big market Houston. Robert Kraft is a chairman of CBS, and the pats run of rings tend to coincide with new TV deals signed with CBS. Do not be suprised when the Rams win a bowl within 5 or so years, Kronkie will be rewarded for returning football to LA.
Wow.... Not only did Saints DB make a wack tackle attempt on the final play, he also eliminated his only teammate who could attempt a tackle.
