I think you're seriously underrating Atlanta's offense. They'll be playing the SB in ideal conditions (which always favors the offense)... and there's yet to be a team that truly shut them down this year.
Well you don't get to play the Cowboys every week. This is the same team that got blown out by the Titans and Redskins earlier this season. Same team that lost to the Colts.
I'm glad they picked up that flag on the Rodgers hit, he made himself a RB and he didn't slide thus he can be hit.
I might be Nick..I might be.They're obviously good. Even so, Pittsburgh and Big Ben are finally healthy at season's end. And Brady/Belichick are ready to go. I just don't see Atlanta getting enough stops. While Atlanta's D is nothing to sneeze at ....Pitt and NE are a different animal on that side of the ball.
I agree GB shot all their remaining bullets last week, but don't sell the Falcons short in the SB. If they don't choke, that offense will roll up some points.
Very well could be a shootout.... but both teams (Pitt and NE) have had stretches where their offense was stifled (as early as last week, in the case of Pittsburgh). Minus one terrible game at Philly, Atlanta's offense hasn't really been stopped all year. Belichick will scheme something to try and take Julio away... but the Falcons offense is extremely versatile. Their defense also shouldn't be completely scoffed at... its not elite, by far, but they do make plays when they need to. They harassed Rodgers all day.
The ATL homies are hype right now. Falcons are gonna beat whomever wins the AFC. PIT's defense isn't enough and NE should've already lost.
