Here we are once again with the Pats right in the middle of another championship run. Just win baby! Really unbelieveable in this day and age to win year in and year out.
the untold stat, had they given the ball to lynch, who got them to the 2 yard line, the patriots would be 10 years in without a superbowl victory. who the hell passes the ball from the 2 when you have the best rb after contact. it's not like the seahawks had alfred blue.
Whether the won or lost they are consistently there which is quite remarkable. Its a game of inches winning and losing has a lot of luck involved.
agreed and what I was hinting at. Luck is one of the most important phases of the game. patriots and the tuck, urlacher running out of gas and unable to capitalize on a rodgers meltdown. The games where the unexplained variable comes to play are the best. It just seems like nowadays people just want the stats gods to play in domes so they can see inflated numbers rather than enjoy the messiness and randomness of the game. (a rant by ted johnson on why the playoffs should be played inside set me off)

The Super Bowl is in 2 weeks. After today, 12 of the last 13 Super Bowls will have had either Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Ben Roethlisberger in the game. Also 13 of the last 15 Super Bowls will have had one of those 3 players. How hard has the AFC been the last 15 years? Only teams to get to the Super Bowl without one of those 3 QB's were Baltimore and Oakland.
