    Torture is old hat. Obama abolished that stuff after racism ended in the US after he was sworn in.

    Actually Obama did some steps to get rid of torture including making the Army field manual the standard for interrogations.

    but he continued to allow evidence gained under torture to be used in a court of law. and he actually threatened to w/hold intel from the brits if they threw out the case of a suspected terrorist b/c he was tortured.

    its clear that bush authorized torture and now he even admits it - under our own laws, what he admits to is punishable by death, but he can get away with it b/c he knows the current administration will do nothing.

    It's up to the people he campaigned to on whether that qualifies as Obama upholding his promise.

    Good point. The voters will ultimately have to hold Obama accountable as all politicians.
