Wine and gold? And I thought the Hornets mardigras theme was ridiculous. The Cavs are now the most flamboyent team in the league.

The Cavs will have ugly jerseys. And the Hornets have to be up there for having one of the worst in the league.

I would like to see us go for Royal Blue, Red and a Dark Gold color.

It was suggested as a joke before, that the Rockets choose some multi-color theme reminiscent of the old Astros' uniforms, but I think there could be something to it.

It doesn't have to look hokie. If you look at pictures of space, of nebulaes, stars, galaxies, you get all sorts of fantastic colors and scenes. You could still have a base color for a background, dark blue or whatever.

With an international fan community growing, some kind of starburst or multicolor logo could be really cool, and definitely bolder and different than what's out there.

Nah im not really down for the rainbow look. I mean looking back it worked for the astros, but i just don't think it would look good on the players. I'm actually partial to the Maroonish/Gold jerseys that the Chinese National team had on. I really do wish i had a scanner tho. I've been taking art all my life, and have all of these jersey ideas swirling around in my head. I need to just get something down and see how it turns out.

I like our old colors mixed in with a little black. Kind of like the Sixers uniforms. I always thought they were sharp looking. I also like Atlantas uniforms.

That wasn't Maroon, it was red, communist red. Seriously though, it looked like red.

how about black jerserys with something like a red strip down the side and red for the number and player name, and the logo could be grey and red, with some white. The logo could look maybe something like our old logo of the 80's with a rocket going around a basketball thats supposed to be the earth, but it should be more modern and sleek looking.

Communist red? I like that. The Rockets uniform can be called Democratic blue. What a tale of two colors for Yao. lol

I would like a Marron and Gold. Kinda like a futuristic rendition of the old red and yellow. Maybe we could throw a little blue in there too.

I agree and have voiced it before. I'll say it again, maroon isn't used often sans a famous university...I think it's unique and would go well with gold.

i'd love our old jerseys but without the yellow trim and a little update to the typeface. also a new logo. the simpler they are the better, imo.

Anybody remember the old Hawks uniforms: Lime Green and Blue? I think they got them when they acquired Pistol Pete.

I think the old official colors of the Rockets were Rocket Red and Desert Gold. I heard Art Eckman intone that for years on radio broadcasts.

The Rockets can go out there in new pink and green uniforms and they'd still look less loud than the current ones.
