Anyone else feel like the current R design is getting dated? Or the logo in general? I really like our current jersey design, and especially the city logo (but not the actual city jersey) this season, but the red R logo really reminds me of the Yao/McGrady/Harden days and not our current squad. This is our primary logo now: This is our alternate logo now: The Rockets rolled out the "new" logo and jerseys back in 2003 and the design was in part inspired by us getting the great Yao Ming. Would love a full rebrand. The last two city jerseys have been cool, the Dunkstronaut is a really cool concept too.

The remix edition is the only jersey I think has looked really good, tho that one year with the NASA font was decent. I wouldn’t mind leaning into the dunkstronaut with red and blue, more space theme. Definitely think the red and yellow nostalgia is blinding people. Nobody actively chooses a color combination that reminds them of ketchup and mustard.
Y'all remember those (christmas?) uniforms that were like maroon and gold? Those were legit I thought they'd lean into that. I liked the SD Rockets throwbacks too. Green/Golds are a weird but cool alternate. Really hoping they lean into this year's city edition though, just such a cool concept and finally, finally, FINALLY space themed. The blood drip R China rockets indeed got stale about halfway through Harden's tenure.
It has to go back to red white and gold. Has to. And just a thin line of gold to make it pop not 50/50.
