I think we have a good shot now that the Nets are done. Rumours are Wes is trying to get Bulls involved. Knicks are definitely going to make a strong push.

When is this saga going to end? Just come to H-Town already Melo.

    The Russian was spot on

this whole Melo drama was a joke...

I found it interesting for Prokhorov to take a shot personally at Melo with the email/carrier pigeon lines

    classic

The interesting is that the Knicks really should do nothing now. They can basically just wait it all out can Carmelo once his contract runs out.

In fact, that is the situation I want to see, where Melo's contract simply runs out, and then we see what happens. It may not happen when he on the Nuggets, but the effect would still be the same.

The best thing for Melo would be if he can wait out this year with the Nuggets then opt out at the end of the season. That way he himself can choose where he wants to go and wont have to rely on variables out of his controll. But that is the last thing Denver would like - letting Melo walk away without getting anything in return.

I think Melo's agents have a lot of the blame to share as well for letting this saga go on for ever. Plus the inexperience of Masai and Kroenke is becoming hillarious.

I hope future candiadates like Paul, Williams and Howard learn from all of this and have a much smoother process when it comes to their turn.

He might also be gambling on union decertification, in which case he can sign for as much as he can get.

I know this might sound strange, but did anyone notice Dwight signed with hakeem's old agent at the same time he was taking lessons from Hakeem?

Dwight visited mid June and late June it's announced he signed with Hakeem's old agent (Dan Fegan).
